Which one of your books would you recommend for someone to read first? I've introduced a few of my friends to your books and I never know which one to suggest they start off with. It's really hard to choose when they're all my favorite!

Aw. Thank you for reading and thank you for recommending my books to your friends! That makes me happy. The only books that need to be read in any sort of order are Pivot Point and Split Second. Those definitely need to be read Pivot Point first and Split Second....second. :) The others are order-less. You can read them or recommend them any way you'd like.

So you've mentioned that a big part of your editing process is cutting out the boring parts/sections. I'm just wondering if you could elucidate a bit on that. What exactly do to the boring parts/sections look like to you? How many of them do you typically remove in an average re-write?
