Hello! Just want to say thank you for writing all of your novels...I love each of them so much!! I was wondering where you normally get your inspiration for your books and if there was one in particular you really enjoyed writing? (I'm sorry if you've gotten these questions before/many times. Thank you!

Thanks for reading my books and liking them! That makes me happy! I get inspiration from lots of different places. But mainly from living life, reading stories, watching movies, interacting with people. I rarely get it from sitting at my computer staring at a blank screen. So I try to get out and try and do new things. I really enjoyed writing The Distance Between Us. I think because I wrote it right after I had sold my first novel (Pivot Point) so there wasn't a lot of pressure. It was before people started reading my books and I felt pretty free and didn't think too much about how others would look at it. I also didn't think I'd sell it because it was nothing like Pivot Point and I'd always been told I had to stick to the same genre when selling books. So really it was jut a fun project for me. But it was really the first book of what kind of ended up defining me.
