Personally, I loved this book, and even though some people may find Celaena a bit annoying, I think she is a wonderful, strong charecter, mainly because of the exact same things that make her irritating. I think you should keep in mind that it is a young adult book, and though many may find YA not as deep or as well thought out as adult books, I think if one actually understands the essence of a book, they can find occurring themes that are not clearly stated yet well explored- but then again, that's just my personal opinion. I still loved this book so much, and I'd definitely recommend you to read it.(less)
