I don’t know if anyone has asked this or not, but what series of your books tie into each other? I gleaned from your wiki that breaking world was a prequel to shadowdance, though I don’t know how true that is seeing how I’ve only just started book one of BW. Also, I love the depth you put into every character, no matter how small the part! Keep it up!

Pretty much everything set in the world of Dezrel ties into each other. The Breaking World books detail the initial war between Karak and Ashhur, and then hundreds of years later, the books fall in fairly close sequence with each other. Roughly Shadowdance happens first, then The Paladins and the Half-Orcs. All four series share some characters, such as the Paladins, which features the Paladin Jerico, who was first introduced in the third book of the Half-Orcs.
I hope that helps a bit!

I finally got my husband hooked on your books as well. He's listened to all of the audible audio books and has re-read the Shadowdance series twice now. Currently, he is developing a concept of a Jedi warrior as a cosplay idea. His idea is to make Haern into a Jedi. Our current discussion is how many cloaks to create for the look and how short the lightsabers should be to emulate your character. Any tips? :)

Hello! This is probably an odd question, but I was wondering how Haern's interlocking cloaks work. I have a couple ideas but I was wondering what you were specifically envisaging when you wrote it. How do they interlock, and do they look like one garment when he's still? On a completely different note your Shadowdance series is amazing and I really like it. I'm looking forward to reading the rest when I get time!
