A Goodreads user asked Kasie West:

Which of your books was the easiest for you to write and which was the most difficult? Why?

Kasie West Hmm, that's a tricky question. They all had easy and hard parts. Pivot Point was really hard to write because of the unique timeline in it. It hurt my brain. But then there were some parts of it that were super easy. The Distance Between Us seemed to come pretty easily to me but that was my first contemporary book so I didn't have to worry about what I might have already used/said/done in my other books because they didn't exist yet. Now, I spend a lot of time thinking about trying to make sure my books are different (and yet feel similar) to my other books. It can be hard. I've actually had to learn to let that go a bit. To do what works for the book I'm writing.
