My sister and I read your book By Your Side I was 8 or 9 when I read that. what age did you think is fit for this books or all your other books?

I think my books are perfect for 12 and up. I just feel like there are so many amazing middle grade books out there for 8, 9, and 10 year olds that don't add the romance focus. But that said, if you enjoy a fun sweet romance read, and you are younger than 12, there's nothing wrong with that.

First I read Distance Between Us, fell in love with Xander's persistence and Caymen's sarcasm.I was yearning for more when it ended.But I found Pivot Point and fell in love with the setting and superpowers. Also, Trevor <3 Occurring sarcasm, yes! Then I was SO HAPPY there was a second book. Did not disappoint!Can't wait to read your other books and future to come!!!!?

I loved Pivot Point and Split Second! Have you ever had to make a really difficult decision and done something similar- like followed both paths (in your head I mean Did any real life events inspire The Distance Between Us (another book about hard choices) ? Do you intentionally build such a strong family theme into your books?

Dude, you have an amazing gift/superpower. I mean Caymen is an amazing name, unlike Kelly or Haley or Isabelle. I'm tired of the same regular names, especially for guys. Hayden is way better than Jack or Liam, and Xander is way better than Sam or Will. And these cool names always seem to work with the character. So how do you do it? Is it seriously a superpower?
