How did you decide that you wanted to be a writer & how long have you been doing it?

I've loved writing stories since I was a young child, and I dabbled with historical romance when I was a teen. But my career path led elsewhere for many years before I tried writing and selling a finished book. I've been published since 2000, so I've been "officially" writing for about 20 years!
