What an unusual question, Ying! I've interviewed many interesting people while researching my books--the Tudor chef at Stirling Castle, the Secretary of Golf at Scotland's oldest course, a magician reenactor named Silvermane, a youth who spoke the native language on the Hoopa Reservation, a Scottish walking tour guide, and lots of museum docents. All of them provided information I could use to develop my characters.
