Do you need to read any of the other books in this series before this book?

Alternating between 1 fiction then 1 Military History. I retired '93 Cmd Sen Chief so most reading was from WWII thru current conflicts. I've been active Interviewing Veterans for Veterans History Project and reading Mil History, gives me a better insight what veterans lived through beyond my own history. Tried reading Mil History from the Civil War and had trouble grasping the history of that period. Flags of our Fathers and a War To Far were great reads.(less)
