We all develop mental images painted by great writers (which you are:). When are you going to post on your website your rendition of: a pod, Max, Hawkings, St. Mary's, and while you are at it may as well include Frogmorton? Thanks Jodi!

A very good question, Sandy, and there are several answers. I have several times thought about publishing something with visual images of St Mary's etc., but I'm not a very good artist. Certainly not good enough to depict the thoughts in my head. And secondly, everyone has their own idea of how a pod looks, how Max looks, and so on. No matter how wonderful the image, there are always going to be people who will say, 'No - that's not how I pictured it. How disappointing.' I have no objections to anyone having a go and posting their efforts on the Fans of St Mary's facebook page, however. It would be quite interesting for me to get an idea of how other people see elements from my books. Thanks for the question. Jodi.

Jodi Taylor:
Hi Jodi. Love the St. Mary's series. I'm up to "An Argumentation..." now. I feel awkward asking this because it's a library book, rather than a purchase. But I'm finding typos on almost every page. In fact a borrower ahead of me has marked most of them! Some are punctuation, most are extra or omitted words. Could this be an early release meant to be proofed? Should I document these to correct a future printing?

Hi Jodi. The St. Mary's series is amazing and quickly became one of my favorites. The ebook of Hope for the Best came out a month before the physical copy, then Hard Time as a ebook was out several months before the physical copy. I'm impatient to pre-order Plan For The Worst (paperback) but its currently only available for order in ebook form. Is the ebook form always going to be available ahead of print? Thanks.

Your books are an absolute delight. Thank you so much. I'm curious -- were you at all influenced by Connie Willis' "To Say Nothing of The Dog"? That was my favorite book before St Mary's came along. Also, I'm always amazed by the twists in your plots. Are the books mapped out or do you figure things out as you go along?
