Danielle I read it as a one-side or a deep-brotherly love on Changhan part. I don't feel like Altan really loved anyone romantically. I actually like that this book didn't focus on romantic feelings for anyone, and I hope the author continues.

Ch I got that impression and that’s one of the things I loved about the story. It redeemed some of the edge and helped me finish a book that was way too violent for me.

Bethany T Same!!! Although I am in agreement with Danielle's response that it may have been one-sided with Chaghan having feelings bordering on romantic for Altan.
