Hi Tim, I'm a high schooler growing up transmale/gay and I love your books because of how dark and yet totally awesome they are. My question is probably one you get a lot, but I was just wondering when your next book is coming out? Are you going to write more on Lee and Nico? How do you come up with your ideas? And last: do you have any advice on writing?

Tim Floreen Hey there! Thank you so much for your questions, and I apologize for taking so long to get back to you. The holidays were keeping me super busy. First off, I'm so happy you enjoy my books! At the moment I'm not sure when the next one's coming out. I'm currently working on a project I'm SO EXCITED ABOUT. I'm almost done with the second draft, but it'll probably still be a while before it's ready to send out to potential publishers. So ... I hope you don't mind a bit of a wait, but I hope it'll be worth it! I'd love to write about Lee and Nico again someday, and I have lots of ideas for a sequel (or two), but I'm not actively working on that right now. So we'll see what happens. I have no idea where I get my ideas from, although I seem to have a lot of them in the middle of the night, which is why I keep a pad of paper next to my bed. In fact, that's my first piece of writing advice: Keep a pad of paper next to your bed. And read a lot and write a lot. And don't worry if what you write isn't perfect. Just keep writing. Some people seem to think you have to have a "talent" for writing to be a good writer, and I think that's bull. If you practice and practice and practice you WILL GET BETTER. So keep at it.
