How do you get inspired to write?

Misty Jones I grew up in a very abusive home,and,at first,writing was an escape from the pain,but ,with my Husband's encouragement,I submitted my manuscripts,imagine my surprise when they were received well from my Publisher.It got me to thinking,...how many Survivors of Childhood trauma are still walking around out there with self doubt?It also got me to thinking of just how many present day Children in abusive situations that I might could help by teaching them that they deserve so much better.So,I go to schools and read my book,and then have a session with the Little ones,letting them know that they can be anything they want to be,to ignore the bullies and people who would tear them down,and to reach out to Teachers,or any School staff if they are in a bad situation at home,or anywhere else.I enjoy my time with the Students,just yesterday,when I asked a little boy what he wanted to be when he grew up,he didn't hesitate when he said "Sonic the Hedgehog!"
