I loved Rules of Civility, but I am having trouble with A Gentleman. Is this meant to be a fantasy? It certainly has no relation to reality, at least not in the beginning.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the early pages of A GENTLEMAN. Did you persevere? I think you will find the journey worth while, particularly if you let the story reveal itself, rather than assuming in advance that it should be one thing or another.

what does it feel like to be a successful writer and how long did the Literary Agents and Publishers took for you to like your book? I have finished writing my Adult Fiction and my query letter, i sent most of my work to the agents but they all rejected me. I tried to make some corrections and still got rejection.
