Goodreads asked K.T. Bowes:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

K.T. Bowes Write what stirs your interest and your passion. You can tell when someone has written for money and it only really worked for Shakespeare and Daniel Defoe - posthumously. Get your stuff properly edited and if you can't afford an editor, buy the software to do it yourself. There is nothing worse than a great plot and characters and poor execution.
