I’m sorry this book has not gotten more buzz. I thought it was brilliant. This would make an amazing book club read. Does your publisher have plans to put out a discussion/book club guide? That might give it the push it needs. Of course if more of us fans post reviews on social media that could help, too. Looking forward to your next book. Keep us posted.

Thanks Judi! Where are you based? The US edition has discussion questions on the back pages, I believe. As for buzz, that's really nice of you to say, but actually I'm a UK author and it's done pretty well over here. It spent three weeks on the bestseller list and has been nominated for a number of prestigious awards, so I'm really happy with it. Of course, if we could spread the word in the US that would mean the world. Thanks very much,
Stu

Seven Deaths is one of my favorite books, and I'm so glad I found it! I absolutely love your writing. I've tried writing mystery stories and it's so difficult! Do you have any advice on how to write a mystery without making all the clues either too obvious or too confusing?

I Have just finished this book and it was an amazing jaw-dropping experience. The ending has left me wondering this: What exactly happened to Blackheath after Aiden left? Do the Hardcastles remain dead? What about the hosts? What about Daniel? Also what about the rest of the characters like Grace or Charles? Is everyone still on a constant loop?
I'm really curious. Many Thanks.

Hello! In "The Devil and the Dark Water", when the governor general discovered that the Folly had been stolen, it's been said that the mark moved. "The eye bulged and the tail twisted away." Since the threat of Old Tom was faked the whole time, how did the mark move? There was one more instance of the mark moving but it was a rumour among the sailors so I dismissed it. Could this also be an illusion of a scared mind?
