Thanks for your kind words. When I first come up with the plot, I go straight to the end and try to figure out five possible endings. Somewhere in there, I find the ending I really love. Then I work backward from the ending. And for world-building, there are some wonderful websites that have questions you can answer as you build your world. The trick is to understand that any given answer has consequences for your plot. For example, a cold weather climate will not produce food year round, which means food will be a limited commodity, which means there will be hungry people at the bottom of society. So when you make your choices, always consider the consequences of each choice. Good luck!
