I am inspired by people, mostly, although songs sometimes plant ideas in my head. I draw from myself for some aspects of my writing, but my main thing is weaving in struggles and experiences from people I know. Even the Light Trilogy, clearly fictitious as it is, got started because of a painful experience that someone I know had.
