Love Cat Clarke she is one of my favourites (if not my favourite author). however, I take issue with the plot of this book. Why did the student need to be transgender to take issue with their sexist school dress code? Couldn't a female student not want to wear a skirt without believing shes a boy inside? Seems to be fighting sexism with sexism. No issue with a story about a trans kid but this specific plot?
