Where did the star inside the circle on the front cover of "The Wicked Deep" come from? It reminds me of the one on all of the books in "The Merciless" series by Danielle Vega. :)

Thanks for your question! The star is a classic pentagram, a symbol used since ancient Greece by Wiccans and other Celtic religions. When the publisher designed the cover, they wanted a symbol that represented "witch." And was easily recognizable by most readers.
