I googled Angel Island and the time period and yes it was an immigration port for Chinese mostly, about a million out of the immigration load. I also will check on marriage status of Chinese women in the early 1920's. All of it was an education for me, as my own grandfather of Italian heritage went through Ellis Island but a whole different scenario . Angel Island detained their immigrants for months!!(less)
