How do you get inspired to write?

S.L. Adams I had the idea for Leap Before You Look in my head for a long time. When my father passed away earlier this year, I needed an escape. My job can be quite depressing. When I added the loss of a parent to the mix, it was too much. I needed something to lose myself in. I sat down one night and just started writing. I learned that I really enjoyed writing. I didn't necessarily think I wanted to be an author until I started. Now I love it so much that I'm well into my next book!
