Your portrayal of Jack & Jane's thoughts, emotions was brilliant. You made them seem humans not mysterious figures. Anyways I hope you'll write books about Lord & Lady Uppington(they're brilliant), Kat & Tommy(very curious) and Lizzy & Nicolas obviously(can't wait to see how this turns out. Jack & Miss Gwen will definitely be livid.) Did Colin S. and Nicholas D. ever meet? And what's Selwicks' connection to Nicolas?

Shinrinyoku, thank you so much for your kind words! I'm so happy that Jack and Jane came to life for you. I would absolutely love to write books about Kat & Tommy and Lizzy & Nicolas-- and I have a whole series plotted out for Lord and Lady U in their youth! (They're just too much fun.) The problem, sadly, is finding the time.... Right now, I'm committed to writing more stand alone novels, but I do hope I'll be able to get back to Pink someday!

You absolutely have to write separate books neither short stories nor novellas on Kat and Tommy, Gardener and Lizzy and obviously on Lord and Lady Uppington. I can't imagine the shock at Gardener's big reveal and how it affects everyone especially the Selwick family and also everyone's reaction at his and Lizzy's relationship. Will you please write? PS I would love to read a little bit about Jack and Jane's kids.

I'm a devoted fan of the Pink Carnation series. (Even if you didn't clearly share my passions for Shakespeare, Blackadder, and Wodehouse, I'd still adore every volume.) I'm an aspiring novelist, and I definitely desire this woman's art, and her scope. How you go about constructing your plots? What are your outlines like? Do you start with the end? How do you make your middles so taut and exciting?
