I dont have a question, i just wanted to let you know that The Last Time I Lied was one of my favorite books ever. Literally. I stayed awake until after 3am because i could not put it down, then i was late to work the next day and ultimately used some vacation time to leave work early so i could go home to finish the book. Amazing book. Thank You! Where did you get the idea for this novel? Did you ever attend a camp?
Riley Sager
But you do have a question! Two of them! : ) The idea came to me while watching the film Picnic at Hanging Rock, which about schoolgirls who vanish in the Australian Outback. I thought it would be cool to take that plot, update it and set it at an all-girls summer camp. And, yes, I went to camp for a week when I was 10. I hated every second of it, although some of it made its way into THE LAST TIME I LIED.

No questions. Just slapping you a five up high. Cuz you are doing what I want to do and doing it well. Listening to Last Time I Lied and getting a true kick in the pants to get back to my office and WRITE. My poor kiddo won't be getting very many original-home-cooked meals for the next few years. I have work to do. OH. Goodreads won't post this without a question mark. Hmmm. ok. Will you ever write a series?

Please please tell me there will be more, I loved The Final Girls and loved loved The Last Time I Lied and was so happy to add it to my bookshelf (is it bad that I refuse to lend it out afraid I will never get it back?). Are you working on anything else? Also, do you ever do book signing in Hamilton Ontario?!?!

I just finished "Final Girls" and thought it was excellent. I am a huge horror fan and you really captured the essence of what makes a great slasher flick. I read the entire book in a few hours. What was your inspiration for the book and what is your favorite slasher flick?
