Ian Moyes
Ian Moyes asked Genevieve Cogman:

Your response re the The Longest Journey just made me want to ask the obvious question. What do you play in the way of games, video, board, card or whatever? I'M BUSY WRITING DAMMIT being a pretty respectable answer to the question, of course :P

Genevieve Cogman I'm afraid I don't play much in the way of rpgs these days, or board or card games (though I used to be keen enough on Monopoly that the rest of the family eventually refused to play any more...) It's a combination of available time and available friends, or lack of same.

I have played through the Phoenix Wright games, and love them (and wish that they'd translate the untranslated ones some day). I had a bit of a City of Heroes habit back in the day, and Diablo 2 and 3, but I cut back on those because they were eating too much time. And don't ask about my Farmville addiction - over now, but . . .

I do play a few other browser games, but they tend to be jammed in while I'm doing something else rather than main focuses of attention. There just aren't enough hours in the day - not just for writing, but for the day job, for other hobbies like patchwork and knitting, for reading, or just for sleeping . . .
