Goodreads asked D.E. Chandler:

What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

D.E. Chandler Keep plugging away. A certain amount of stubbornness is essential for a writer, and the only real way to get better is to keep reading, writing, and allowing your work to be read. All three of those things are essential. Never stop working to get better, and work to overcome any sensitivity to constructive criticism.
