What exactly happens to a Carpathian female if she looses her lifemate? I know they don’t turn vampire but choose to walk in the sun instead. But does that mean it’s a conscious decision because of the grief? Can they choose to live longer for whatever reason like Arabijela did? Would they still be immortal or would they waste away and die? Did Arabijela choose to age and die like a human or was she already dying?

Unlike the Carpathian male, a female may choose to continue on especially if she has children. She will often choose to follow her lifemate once her children can care for themselves. They would still be Carpathian, that wouldn't change.

I became a huge fan of yours when I found the series of Ghost Walkers. I can hardly wait for the next books to come out. I hope you write more in Ghost Walkers and Toroedo Inc. Hi Christine. Regarding the Dragonseeker Mark, how is it determined whose born with it, or does the mark show later, as the child grows, and the character developes, and leans toward evil or good? If you're of dual species, and your genetics is more Carpathian, and you're of pure heart, or have a good character do you receive the mark.
