How did you get into writing? Did you want to write when you were in school or did something move you into writing as an adult? Have you studied creative writing? How long did it take you to write your first novel?

Hi Norton! I started writing because I was frustrated that none of the books told the exact story I wanted to read at the time, and because I'd just taken the bar exam and needed something to occupy my mind while I was waiting for results! I wrote FEEDING FRENZY in 5 months, give or take.
But before that, I read a ton, and have been an editor and a writing tutor, so yes! I have studied creative writing! Just not as part of my degree at university :-) I never expected to write, but it's been a great outlet for me. (And the best joke I've played on my sister yet!)

Since we are in the same book group I thought I would come to you for advice pretty one. I wrote the first few sentences of my new romance novel how to date a dragon. I hope you are able to give me feedback. Women supporting women? Twas a dark and stormy night and I was about in the hood. This guy came up to me and he had a dragon on his shirt. He said hey lil mama. I said you are one fine dragon.
