Goodreads asked Marilyn Foxworthy:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Marilyn Foxworthy OK, for me, this might be different than for others. I basically don't get writer's block. I listen to my characters and they either tell me their story, or they don't. I won't push them. If they seem to be uncomfortable telling me the next part, I might try to help them figure out their feelings about it, but I can just wait for them to relax and start talking again when they're ready. If I'm not needed for new parts of their stories, I can work on book covers or descriptions, or keeping in touch with readers and fans. That advice may not help anyone, but it's how it is for me.
