Jumper RBK There are authors that I throw away from my anticipated list. Those guys are Scott Lynch, GRRM and Patrick Rothfuss. You should do the same, and go check other great authors and books out there.

If their books got release then it's good, otherwise I dun care much, move on. They can just bother themselves with attending con after con, coz completing their book is not the ultimate concern anymore for them, so that is also the same for me, their book doesn't matter to me.
Silje I'm hearing September 2018.. this is from a distributor who's talked to the Publisher so I think it's solid info. Really hoping it's wrong though. I'm still in denial that it's true........
Yep, as feared http://www.gollancz.co.uk/2016/08/an-...
Christopher Hey guys look:
"This title will be released on November 12, 2019.
Pre-order now."
Yuri Probably when Scott Lynch gets back to writing.. It seems like all he does is twitter right now.
I won't hold my breath for this one, probably 2019/2020 IF he ever finishes it at all.
Stefano Galluzzi lynch in june said he was slightly behind schedule and hoped to have the book out in stores by spring 2015

Edit: The book is now scheduled for a mid-2016 release.
Stephen COUBLE amazon taking preorder for 17th sept 2020 uk just looked on google and it took me to amazon.ca and they aare taking preorders for 21 oct 2021!!!!! So what we make of it I really dont know. The Books are great andits such a frustraiting wait. What do we think, writers block? I hope Scott is ok, he is young and up and coming. I can wait, want it to be as good as the others. At least he is not just churning rubbish out and relying on sales due to the quality\rep of the previous books.
Hal The author posted a tweet just a few days ago (May 23, 2019), saying that he had "completed a draft of THORN which will now go to my editors for consideration and planning." So maybe 2019 or early 2020 could be possible for a release at last! No promises or formal announcement yet, though...

Amber Beck Looks like the date has been moved to November 2019 :( https://www.amazon.ca/Thorn-Emberlain...
Tiki Found one site online that states Bk4, Thorn of Emberlain, will release in Oct. 2018...and now Amazon also has this as release date. Who knows if it will happen. What I do know is, at this rate it will be 21-22 yrs before we get to book 7 that's titled here on GR. I may not be able to even read by then! O_O
Kev I wouldn't hold my breath if I were you.
Sancol Chapters.Indigo.ca has it listed as OCT 15 2024!!!
"cries"
Tye One source I found said that the manuscript is done but after revisions and edits it wont be anytime soon, most likely 2020. Meanwhile you guys should check out The legends of Eli Monpress, somewhat witty like Locke but still a very readable series.
Richard Considering how badly overwritten Republic of Thieves was after it was delayed a year or so, The Thorn of Emberlain will be 800 pages of word vomit by the time it's out. Pray that never happens.
Wapfrogs Wapfrogs Not only has this book not been released, but there are #5 and #6 on here too!! ALL with many ratings (over 1000 for #4). What gives? And has Scott retired or his really planning to write all these? Sounds like GRR Martin revisited (at least he wrote 6). Let me know what you hear, W
Kalibaatje Seems like its delayed for the 100th time... again.
After waiting for years and believing it will finally be released this September (2016), they added more than half a year (April 2017).
Not sure if I want to read this any more. A lot of respect for writers and their publishing teams. I know circumstances can delay a book... but this is getting ridiculous.
Otus It has been rescheduled again. September 2016 is not going to happen, but the wonky ones some listings have are not true either. Probably in a few months but remains to be confirmed: http://www.gollancz.co.uk/2016/08/an-...
Gabrielle October 15th, looks like. Someone pushed back the release date yet again.
