Goodreads asked Stuart Cornewall:

What’s the best thing about being a writer?

Stuart Cornewall FREEDOM! When I write I feel a total sense of freedom. I can sit down at my computer with a totally bank mind (my usual state) and then three hours later a whole new aspect of a story has been created. Usually, I spend time planning out what I’m going to write, down to the smallest detail, yet there are times when the words just follow. From where, I do not know but it is a tremendous feeling of freedom when they do. Because I write fantasy, anything is possible. I don’t have to follow any rules, I just need to imagine. As a young lad I dreamt of new worlds and impossible adventures. Now I write about them. How much fun is that?
