I don't feel like I have quirks when I write. However, I do have rituals that I must follow while I write.
First, I must plug into some delicious Black Metal music (preferably with earbuds to totally eliminate any outside distractions).
Second, I need to have a beverage on hand to give me quick breaks during the writing process. Coffee is the best, but water will do once I am thoroughly jacked up on joe.
Third, I like to wear a Project Entertainment Network tee shirt to channel the prolific vibes of some of my favorite hosts. Favorites are Bizzong, Mando Method, Arm Cast and The Horror Show with Brian Keene.
Finally, I have to have all windows on my laptop shut down and no internet access. I can't help myself from scanning for distractions.
On rare occasions, I will rock in my chair like a catatonic mental patient to keep the blood flowing in my wrists and legs. But we'll keep that a little secret between friends.
