I would travel to Oz so I could hunt down all the flying monkeys that have haunted my nightmares for decades.

Steven stared at his watch, lost within his thoughts about all the things he needed to do when he got home from work. The doors opened with a chime and he stepped forward before he realized the elevator was missing.

Based on my experience growing up with my folks, no.

I don't feel like I have quirks when I write. However, I do have rituals that I must follow while I write.
First, I must plug into some delicious Black Metal music (preferably with earbuds to totally eliminate any outside distractions).
Second, I need to have a beverage on hand to give me quick breaks during the writing process. Coffee is the best, but water will do once I am thoroughly jacked up on joe.
Third, I like to wear a Project Entertainment Network tee shirt to channel the prolific vibes of some of my favorite hosts. Favorites are Bizzong, Mando Method, Arm Cast and The Horror Show with Brian Keene.
Finally, I have to have all windows on my laptop shut down and no internet access. I can't help myself from scanning for distractions.
On rare occasions, I will rock in my chair like a catatonic mental patient to keep the blood flowing in my wrists and legs. But we'll keep that a little secret between friends.

My TBR pile is massive these days. I have a box (almost refrigerator-sized) next to my bed of autographed books waiting to be devoured. And my Kindle is so full it keeps yelling at me to remove books because it is out of space.
That being said, summer is a great time to clear out some fun reads and I have my top 5 list ready to go. In no particular order, the books I plan to tackle this summer include:
1. Sharkwater Beach by Tim Meyer
2. Dying Days 8 by Armand Rosamilia
3. Bigfoot Beach by Kristopher Rufty
4. Mayan Blue by Michelle Garza and Melissa Lason
5. Dark Vanishings 3 by Dan Padavona
I think these stories would be great summer-themed reads and would put a dent in my overflowing TBR piles.

Wow, that's a great question. Right now my favorite fictional couple is Ragnar and Lagertha Lothbrok from the television series, Vikings, on History Channel. Their relationship fascinates me because of the intricacies of their culture and the times they lived in. They each have undying love for one another while allowing their partner the freedom to pursue their individual destinies. It is a wonderful love story, although tragic at times.
Without fear of losing my man card, the greatest fictional couple of all time is probably Jane Eyre and Edward Rochester. And I didn't say that to make my wife happy either. Such a powerful story and amazing characters.

Excellent question. My beard's powers center on catching crumbs of food and drips of coffee to be enjoyed at a later moment in time. Usually late at night in bed or on the couch watching T.V. My real powers come from great writing friends and a steady diet of Demented Brewing's ale. I will gladly show you how I absorb these powers if you care to meet me there.

The best thing about being a writer is telling stories that people enjoy. Nothing is more fulfilling than when a reader lets you know that they loved one of your characters or that they couldn't put your book down.

The Debt Collector Series was something that had been germinating for a few years as my day job was in constant jeopardy. Once I lost my job, the rest of the story filled in and morphed into today's version. So it is loosely based on real life issues and the potential for total ruin.
The Son of Earp Series came out of a deep desire to please my father and yet still write horror. My father is a huge western fan but shuns horror. So I mashed the genres up in hopes of getting him to enjoy my work. I know. I have issues. Who doesn't?

I don't need inspiration to write, fortunately. There are so many tales swirling around in my noggin so once I sit down in the chair, the words just come out. I have a set routine of writing each day with a word count goal. The hardest part is to make sure I stay focused on writing and avoid distractions like the internet and email, etc.

This is a loaded question. I am currently finishing up the Debt Collector Trilogy (Book 3) and still creating in the Son of Earp Series (Book 2 in progress). I am also starting to develop two new series plus some Bizarro work which I will eventually publish under a pen name (to protect the innocent - namely me).

Just do it! Put your big boy pants on (or big girl pants) and write. I wasted so many years worrying about what others would think about my prose. But you can't worry about pleasing everybody. It's not going to happen. So put the words down and let the chips fall where they may.

Writer's block is not an issue for me. I have so many ideas and the hamster is always running on the wheel (so to speak). It is just a matter of having the endurance to keep up with the flow.
