Why is this tagged as Gay/LGBT? I know very little about this book, but apparently Darius himself isn't gay, and it doesn't end in a gay relationship, so I'm just curious. Who in the series justifies the tags?

The bond that develops between the main character and another boy he meets in Iran kind of dances on the fringe of being more than just a friendship, but nothing overt is ever stated. (less)
