In an earlier draft Diaz had an automatic pistol that was later changed to a revolver to make it more distinct. Alas, I overlooked the subsequent continuity error and it slipped through the editing net. Hope it didn't detract too much from your enjoyment

Tom - Bless you for the Victor series. You have broken into my top tier of writers along with Child, Flynn (RIP), Taylor, Greaney, and Sandford. I stumbled upon your excellence when you had only produced two novels (with 3 titles) and your name was a little longer. Dirty trick by the way - I can't read German but I got the book. I only have one question. Can you please write a bit faster? I love these books!
