Would you say this book is appropriate as a read aloud for grade 4 students? 8-9 years old?

Lisa I think it's a cute story but you would have to change the wording for "Looks like you are coming out of a booby" and there's another inference of the…moreI think it's a cute story but you would have to change the wording for "Looks like you are coming out of a booby" and there's another inference of the birth canal. Personally, I think there's better books out there for read alouds for 4th grade. I highly recommend Aidan of Oren. It's a 3 book series and my third grade boys and girls went nuts for it. I also recommend because of Mr. Terupt and Love that Dog followed by Hate that Cat.(less)
