Michael J. Sullivan:
Hi Michael, I was wondering if there was any possibility of more short stories featuring Royce and Hadrian in the vein of The Jester or Professional Integrity? I thoroughly enjoy the full length novels, but sometimes I need a quick fix when I don't have time for a longer read/listen.

Yeah, I'm sure there will be a short story here or there. Those particular ones came about because of invitations to anthologies I was invited to. Once the story had been in the anthology on an exclusive basis, then the rights revert to me and I can distribute them to people. So I guess I have to get invited to submit a new story ;-)
I am working on a short right now. It's not Riyria (it's for the Legends of the First Empire series) and it involves Suri and Minna. I felt that since I have several Riyria shorts I should include one for that other series as well.

Michael J. Sullivan:
Hi there! I started reading your work with Age of Myth and fell in love with it. I consequently gobbled up the next two with joy. However, there will be a gap between last released and the rest of the series. I want to jump into the Riyria Chronicles but will it be a spoiler of the Legends of the First Empire? Since Legends is basically history before Riyria Chronicles? Thank you!

Hey Mike, I've been a long time fan (I read the whole Riyria Revelations in a week :3). I backed your kickstarter for your new Riyria Chronicles book, but I noticed you changed up the names for the First Empire books. As a person that loved the out of the ordinary and unique names that you previously had, I am wondering why you changed them?

With The First Empire series being basically written already, and some sold, is there a plan to release them in relatively quick succession or will they be spread out like normal sequels, one a year or so? I ask mainly because as much as I am looking forward to that series, it would be a shame to have to wait 3-5 years for more Royce & Hadrian.
