Francine Pefanio
Francine Pefanio asked Charlaine Harris:

1) Do you view writing as a spiritual practice? 2) What period of your life you started writing most often? (child, teenager, young adult) 3) How did you come up with the idea? 4) How long does it take you to write a book? and lastly.. When did you first realize you wanted to be a writer? Hope that you'll notice me

Charlaine Harris I started writing when I could hold a pencil and learned the alphabet. I was always a voracious reader. I still am. My brain rolls around ideas until it comes up with something that pleases me. It takes me as long to write a book as my contract says I have. I always, always, wanted to be a writer. A spiritual practice . . . well, in a way, because I would be a much sadder person if I didn't write.
