I started writing when I could hold a pencil and learned the alphabet. I was always a voracious reader. I still am. My brain rolls around ideas until it comes up with something that pleases me. It takes me as long to write a book as my contract says I have. I always, always, wanted to be a writer. A spiritual practice . . . well, in a way, because I would be a much sadder person if I didn't write.

Good morning, Charlaine! I hope you're having a wonderful start to your weekend. I just finished the Midnight Texas series. I am wondering if that series is done? Will there be any follow up books? I loved the characters and the crossovers from other series. As much as I love Sookie, Fiji is a damn fine character that gives Sook a run for her money! Well done, ma'am, well done!
