What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Tabitha Darling Two things, learn to write as well as you can. My experience is that public school and social media do not generally encourage literacy. And lastly, to think outside the box, recognizing cliches/tropes, mix n match, try something new and disregard the little voice that nags at your quality of writing. ALL of us who do write start with the basics, no one is born perfect. If the passion exists, learn the craft and to think.
