Hello, thank you for answering your fans questions. I know how hard it is to let go of the characters. I was wondering, if in the middle of righting "Trial by Fire" you caught yourself making one of the characters from this book very similar to the character in “the goddess” trilogy? I am asking this because I find myself comparing characters from different books, and it must be even harder on you as an author.

Josephine Angelini I don't think about it too much. Mostly because I see them as different characters in my head. If they end up being similar on the page, it's because I haven't described them right. I try not to worry about it and instead focus on what that individual character wants and why he or she wants it. Motivation is great way to make your characters different.
