Mark Lawrence:
Was the name Jalan also random ? in Indonesian it means 'walking/travelling ' (amongst other uses). I thought it very appropriate since the character did a lot of travel. If it was random then it is a wonderful coincidence !

I notice of all the authors I've enjoyed, [You are tied with another author for favorite for me.] You seem to most fans as extremely quotable. Your books seem to have such quotable eloquence from the characters regardless of how different they are.. What do you attribute this to? Is there a conscious method, or do you think/know of some aspect of yourself that lends to this?
