So dear Mr. Mark ''Awesome'' Lawrence, what's it going to be after the Book of the Ancestor, what have you got cooking in that genius brain of yours? I would't be surprised that you have another finished trilogy under your bed ready to wow us yet again. Are you ever going to be an adept of writing lengthier novels or has this become a trend, short but full of energy novels?

Mark Lawrence Well, I do have another finished trilogy as it happens, starting with One Word Kill, I have a weird 80s, sci-fi + D&D mashup coming out in April, and all three books should be on the shelves within a year of the first.

So, with Holy Sister too I should have 4 books coming out next year.

After that, in 2020 I expect to release the first book in a trilogy set on Abeth, the world introduced in The Book of the Ancestor. That book being titled The Girl and the Stars.

Hi Mark I've read all of your books including Road brothers and During the dance, but favourite is still the Broken Empire books. Despite his single minded focus which often evinces the harshest brutality, cruelty and callousness, there seems to be a deeply buried goodness in him. How did you manage to pull that off with such an amoral character?

Dear Mark, I just finished reading The Broken Empire trilogy in Italian. I usually read books in their original language, but this time I risked with my mother tongue. Are you involved in the translation process? I found the Italian titles quite disappointing. The three books are titled as: Principe/Re/Imperatore dei fulmini, that in english would have been Prince/King/Emperors of lightnings. Why lightnings?
