This would make for one hell of a movie. I disliked Blood Red Road (or Dust Lands: Blood Red Road, as it's now called) because I absolutely loathed Moira Young's writing. I hated the constant (intentional, I think) typos and lack of quotations and all the fragments. However, I thought that the story and characters were terrific. I would love to see this thrilling, gripping story played out on the big screen, or on TV, or anywhere without all those typos.

The movie is in the works and nothing is confirmed, but Ridley Scott (Prometheus, Bladerunner, Gladiator, Thelma and Louise, etc.) is developing it. There's an IMDB page for it already.

I would really love to see this book as a movie because I really loved Moira Young's writing. It was absolutely irreplaceable in my heart. And it's so unique with all the spelling errors and typos. It certainly wasn't a mistake to pick this book up.
This story's plot is absolutely, thrilling, gripping, it's a fantasy. A world where I would have loved to live in. A movie would be great but please choose the cast right because most movies don't have necessarily a right cast. Such as Percy Jackson it sucked I mean the movies.
But seriously I respect this book, its uniqueness, its fun, its love, and her determination was on fleek.
