Hello Huntley! I finished "What I Thought Was True" a couple of days ago anf really enjoyed it! I specificaly liked how you incorporated portuguese in the story telling. ( since I'm portuguese!) I was just wondering how you wrote those senteces in portuguese. Did someone translate it for you or do you speak the language? (becausw they were actually accurate!) Bye ❤

Hi Francisca!
Thank you for writing me. I'm thrilled to hear that you enjoyed WHAT I THOUGHT WAS TRUE. And exceptionally glad to hear that the Portuguese was accurate. Having had an unfortunate run-in with Spanish and Google Translate for my first book, I did consult a friend who translated. I wish I spoke the language--most people do around here. My 3rd daughter keeps asking incredulously how it is that we can't be Portuguese because nearly everyone in her class is. So, I very much appreciate the affirmation that I got it right ; )
Warmly,
Huntley

Hi Huntley! I just finished reading MLND and I had a couple of questions. My first is what did Jase ever see in Lindy? She sounds a little crazy and I wouldn't think Jase would go for someone who's dramatic. My second question is what do you think are Sam and Jase's favorite things about each other? Thanks!

Hi Huntley. I love MLND and I really want to read WITWT (I'm just waiting for amazon in England to release it for kindle). I was just wondering is The Boy Most Likely To a direct continuation from MLND or is there a bit of a time lapse and is it all from Tim's point of view or will there be multiple narrators this time round? (I could ask you a million questions about that world but I won't annoy you too much <3)

Hi Huntley :) After reading the scene with Jase, Sam, and Tim on the beach on 4th of July, I'm a little confused. Sam finds “few pairs of Jase’s Stony Bay soccer team shorts” when rummaging through the trunk of the Bug looking for a swimsuit. Is Jase also a soccer player, in addition to football player? Or was? Thanks for your response- I really appreciate any kind of clarification!
