Alexw asked Kimberly Belle:

Kimberely- I have been reading the Marriage Lie and am amazed at how the dialogue flows- Bravo !! My question is, do you find it easier to write dialogue for a character most like yourself or for a character that you despise??

Kimberly Belle Well, thank you!! I'm so thrilled to hear you're enjoying The Marriage Lie. :) As for your question, I used to think it was easier for me to write females, until I started writing book #5 (DEAR WIFE, out sometime in 2019) and the male characters' voices came so much easier. Maybe it was because they were both so very flawed, IDK, but both men spoke loudly and clearly in my head. All that goes to say, I think it depends on the story and the character. If things (character, dialogue, story) are fully developed in my head, they come easier to the page. Thanks for reading!
