Hi Christine, and thanks for reading and reaching out! My next book, The Expat Affair, is set in my part-time home of Amsterdam, so YES!! It's out in June. As for other exotic locales, I would love to continue down this path, though not right away. The book I'm writing now is set in the US but I have so many ideas for faraway settings so there will definitely be more, and I can't wait to write them :)

Yes and no. I'm finishing up a book called The Paris Widow - about a couple vacationing in Paris when he's the victim of a freak explosion...but in the days following police inform her he's not just a victim but the target - but no pub date yet. I'm thinking it'll be 2024 sometime, but def watch my GR page for announcement. Thanks again for reading!! 💙

(view spoiler)[Thank you!! I'm so thrilled you enjoyed The Personal Assistant :) As for your Q, the address didn't check out, so either he remembered incorrectly (according to Alex, impossible) or he said the wrong address on purpose. Why he would do that I leave a little more up in the air, as do I the answer to what happened to the key and what it unlocked (keeping it vague bc spoiler free). I kind of leave it up to the reader to decide. What do you think? :) (hide spoiler)]

Hi Lea, and thank you! I'm so thrilled you enjoyed the wifey 😍 As for what's next, I’m currently finishing up a story about a newlywed woman who discovers a woman’s body under her lakeside home’s dock. The police show up, and in the stress of the moment, she follows her husband’s lead and lies about ever having met the woman. It’s not a big lie, and she doesn’t really think much of it at the time, but soon that one little lie turns into an avalanche. As the police close in on the woman’s killer, she uncovers dangerous truths about her husband and her marriage, as well as dark secrets that have been simmering below the lake’s currents for years. No title yet, but coming sometime in 2020.

Yes - I missed last year but I'm a regular. I love DBF! Planning on being there this year but haven't heard panel/time yet. Will post on my website but there are already two ATL events listed there, in Buckhead and Woodstock :: http://kimberlybellebooks.com/events

Thanks so much, I'm thrilled you enjoyed The Marriage Lie! :) As for books, yes, I abandon books sometimes, as I'm a mood reader. Often I'll pick them back up and try again, but if the story or writing isn't my style, I don't have a problem putting them down for good. Life is too short, and I want to be reading something that thrills me.

Thank you, Jeri! I'm so thrilled you enjoyed them. :) and YES, together with my editor I'm putting the final touches on edits for DEAR WIFE, which will come out next June - about a woman on the run from her violent husband, and a man who returns from a business trip to find his wife missing. Thanks for reading!!

Hi Cassidy, and so sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I was traveling for the past week with very limited access to email and am just now wading through an overflowing inbox. :) I’m THRILLED to hear you enjoyed Three Days Missing enough to still be thinking about it days later; that’s about the best thing you can say to an author! As for a sequel or continuation to the story, I don’t have any plans at the moment but I never say never so maybe…? There’s a lot of story there, for sure. Give Sammy and Ethan a few years, and I think they’ll have lots to say to each other if they ever run into each other down the road. But I do have some good news where they’re concerned: I just signed away my film/tv rights so hopefully they’ll make their way onto a screen at some point - either big or small, I’d be beyond happy with either! I’ll be updating my socials with news as soon as I know it. :)
Thanks for reading and reaching out!!

Well, thank you!! I'm so thrilled to hear you're enjoying The Marriage Lie. :) As for your question, I used to think it was easier for me to write females, until I started writing book #5 (DEAR WIFE, out sometime in 2019) and the male characters' voices came so much easier. Maybe it was because they were both so very flawed, IDK, but both men spoke loudly and clearly in my head. All that goes to say, I think it depends on the story and the character. If things (character, dialogue, story) are fully developed in my head, they come easier to the page. Thanks for reading!

Hi Vicky, and first of all, thanks so much for reading and reaching out! I'm so thrilled you enjoyed The Marriage Lie enough to want more. :) No plans for a sequel, but I never say never. Maybe one day, who knows? In the meantime, my next book, Three Days Missing, releases 6.26 - I hope you love it just as much! All best to you, xo, Kimberly

Wouldn't that be awesome, Jill!? No one has bought the movie rights yet, but I'd certainly love to see TML on a screen, big or little. Thanks so much for reading and reaching out. :)

Hi Diane, and thanks for reading! TN is one of the states that still allows smoking in bars and restaurants 21 and over. Especially in Eastern TN (where Rogersville is located) there are smokers everywhere still. I may have taken a bit of license with the vending machine (they still exist but I haven't seen one in ages), but I liked the old-fashioned, backwoods feel it gave to that scene and especially to Roadkill. No matter how good Jake's food, the restaurant is still located in small-town TN, lol. ;) Thanks for reading, and so glad you're enjoying The Last Breath! xo
