Aric knows to be capable and allows her to be so. I am not talking about carrying things for her like books or a backpacks, but I am talking about her ability to stand up for herself. To be the Empress or learn to be her instead of just a girl who can't and shouldn't take care of herself. I feel like Aric is willing to fight along side her where Jack wants to do the fighting for her.(less)
