I'd like to know how long have you been writing and where does your creative inspiration come from? What would you like to see writers of color focusing more on as it relates speculative fiction? Who is your favorite writer and what was the last thing you read? I know, pretty long question!

Hi Rosa. I've been writing off and on for at least 20 years. My inspiration comes from a variety of sources; history, music, art and other writers. I'd like to see writers of color tackle all aspects of speculative fiction. We need to have our hands in everything! :-) My favorite writer is Charles R. Saunders, and the last book I read was The Seedbearing Prince II by DeVaun Sanders. It's an excellent book.
