Truthfully, I purposefully left BREATHLESS open ended because I wanted every reader to decide for themselves who granted Travis his wish to die on his own terms. I wanted readers to discuss the book’s ending. I wanted readers to ask themselves, “If Travis was my friend, boyfriend, brother, could I grant his wish?” It’s an ethical dilemma that each of us must dig deep inside ourselves for an answer.

How do you stay inspired while writing? I want to be an author, but everytime I start a project, I get bored of it and stop writing. I just feel like the story took a horrible turn and it just drags on.. Also, when you're writing do you start from the beginning or do you start with one specific event and then build from there and figure out the details with how it starts and builds up to that point?
