Kian asked Katie McGarry:

How old were you started writing and how did you decide which project you wanted to start with like choosing Pushing the Limits to give to your agent to publish instead of your other projects? Thanks, this would really help me as I'm a aspiring future author -Kian

Katie McGarry Hi Kian,

I didn't start writing until I was in my thirties. I was born a storyteller, but I never believed that I would ever be good enough to write a story, none-the-less be published.

Once I did start writing, I wrote three full length novels before I wrote Pushing the Limits, which is my first published novel. It took me writing all those novels to learn how to write the one that would be published.

As for ideas, usually characters develop in my head and I start writing about them until I figure out the story they want told.

Thank you,

Katie
